Taking over the reins of Kent Shaffer Homes, third generation builder Kristen Shaffer-Hale can be found both on the job site and in design meetings ensuring the final product reflects the client’s vision down to the smallest details. After growing up on job sites watching grandparents, parents, and uncles construct custom homes, Kristen attended Purdue University and graduated with a degree in construction management. Immediately out of college, Kristen was recruited to work for a national leader in production home construction where she garnered valuable skills and methods to apply to the custom home world to help keep projects on time and on budget. Missing the challenge and creativity required for custom home building, Kristen rejoined the family business at KSH and ultimately took over ownership, growing the company to new heights and increasingly becoming the builder of choice in Central Indiana for ultra-luxury home construction. Winning both the 2018 and 2024 BAGI Home-A-Rama shows, along with building a national following, Kristen is always excited for the next build and the challenges it will present.
